The mission of Clothes To Kids of Denver is to provide new and quality used clothing to students from low-income or in-crisis families in the Denver Metro Area, free of charge. The students who shop at Clothes To Kids are experiencing some very difficult circumstances including poverty, homelessness, displacement and home removal. Many are refugees or are in foster care. The clothes provided by Common Threads help older students feel comfortable and confident in the classroom and among their peers.

Assistance League of Denver is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to transform the lives of children and adults through its innovative philanthropic programs. They have been serving the greater Denver community for 62 years. In 2019, they served 8,000 people and returned $423,000 to meet the needs of people in the Denver community.

Their Thrift Shop is located at 6265 E. Evans Avenue, Suite 8, in Denver. Store hours are 10 AM to 3 PM Monday through Saturday.

Community Clothing Closets PhotoLocal Community Clothing Closets

We also provide clothing donations to three different clothing closets in our surrounding communities. These closets provide clothing to in-need families in the areas they serve. Currently, these donations go to community clothing closets based at South High School, Arvada K-8, and Crawford Elementary School.
