it's all about slow fashion
On May 10 2025, we made our Denver Fashion Week debut on none other than Sustainable Night! As a woman-owned, small business built around secondhand clothing, we were thrilled to showcase a collection true to the Common Threads name and brand we have built over the years.
Presenting 13 carefully curated looks made entirely from second-hand items, we proved that style and sustainability can go hand in hand. Intentional, Effortless, and Individual are the words that we felt best describe our collection. Yet, our biggest inspiration for the curation came from our customers -- the beautiful, real women who each shine their own unique light and aesthetic.
Our Common Thread
To represent the "Common Thread" that connects us all through our shared love for sustainable fashion, silk threads were incorporated into each model's hair and/or accessories. As we put together pieces from a diverse range of brands, our goal was to give everyone an idea of what to expect when they shop with us and to highlight the unique strands that make up our style DNA, in true Common Threads fashion.
sustainability
By reimagining pre-loved fashion, we hope to continue promoting the positive impacts of slow fashion and its role in fostering mindfulness when it comes to the clothes we wear and reducing waste in our community.
