About us
Local and Women owned
Common Threads Boulder started in 2007 out of Libby’s desire to provide a unique fashion marketplace where people come together to create, collect and consign. The Creative Lab in Boulder offers a range of classes from sewing basics to summer camps for children to the wildly popular Trash the Runway. Libby brought her sister, Jennifer, on board in 2011 to bring the highly successful consignment concept to Old South Pearl Street in Denver. Together, the two stores offer an eclectic mix of designer favorites such as Gucci, Prada and Isabel Marant and fashion forward basics from shops like Madewell, Nordstrom and Zara.
As sisters we share a passion for fun, affordable and sustainable fashion and a heart for our communities. Both stores support our neighborhoods by investing in and hiring from local schools. We also give our unsold clothing to non-profits for women, clothes closets at neighborhood schools and churches. We partner with local non-profits who are already doing exceptional work helping to clothe women and children in our community by donating our unsold clothing to their ongoing efforts. Please check out our Partners page to see where your unsold gently loved items find a new life.

Jennifer and Libby are passionate about building a vibrant, connected community in Boulder, Denver, and beyond. Through Common Threads, they've turned their business into a force for good—raising funds and donating a portion of sales to support vital causes. Most recently donating to local nonprofits like The Center on Colfax and contributing to wildfire relief efforts in California, they continue to use their platform to create meaningful impact.
